I give myself
my own loving touch
a light genuinely felt
a warmth through my skin
I breathe
a conscious breath
and let things go
like shapes to clouds
let be what is,
that is enough
I release even
the idea of self-love
to be when it is
to keep it safe from
rampaging fear a
tide of acid that
dissolves meaning through
attachment and rumination
