Let Our Suffering Mingle

rise and unfurl spirit
like breath releasing unclenched
evaporate well of tears
disperse this suffering
so it may mingle with yours
allow sun rays to strike
and break apart the cells of pain
foment mutation
so this broken spline
of kaleidoscopic viewpoints
may see in intersection
reflection more than distinction
release my hands the job
spinning trauma on
pottery wheel memory
and let me know you and yours for
only your tears can truly
cleanse my wounds
